Chess openings by rating
How opening choices change with rating.
Against 1.e4, 1...e5 takes 57% of replies from players rated under 1200 and 25% from players rated 2000 and up, where 1...c5 leads with 37%. Against 1.d4, 1...d5 takes 54% under 1200 and 28% at 2000 and up, where 1...Nf6 leads with 45%. Each rating group has its own page with the openings it reaches most.
